Tushies diapers' natural absorbency comes from its unique blend of cotton and non-chlorine bleached certified TCF woodpulp fluff.  About this Product
Tushies are a wonderful alternative to the more mainstream gel-filled diapers. Because of the woodpulp and cotton that is used for absorbency, we do find these diapers bulkier and less-flexible that their gel-filled counterparts. We have personally used them on our newborns as this is when babies are acclimating to life outside the womb and are most sensitive to potential irritants.
